This year Clearwater Historic Lodge & Canoe Outfitters celebrates 100 years of helping people enjoy the remarkable Boundary Waters near Grand Marais, MN!

The world has changed a lot since Charlie and Petra Boostrom first founded the lodge, and we’ve been working hard to stay with the times….without losing our Northwoods roots.

We’re happy to announce our new website, which we think improves our ability to showcase what’s really unique about Clearwater Historic Lodge.  This week, we just turned on our new online booking engine, and after some fine-tuning we’re feeling pretty good about it.  We know our return guests like to book their favorite cabins year after year, and we hope this new system will make it more convenient for them.  (Soon we’ll be adding Bakery, Outfitting, and Retail items, so stay tuned!) We also hope to make a good impression on new guests who have yet to discover what Clearwater has to offer.
