Clearwater Lodge & Outfitters along with BaseCampNorth exhibited at the 2026 Canoecopia paddlesports show in Madison, WI in March this spring. It was a great show and we areally enjoyed meeting people and talking to them about our favorite place. We were not the only folks there from the Gunflint. Loon’s Nest Coffee were there (thanks for all the samples!) along with Adventurous Christians and Seagull Outfitters. It was fun to see everyone and meet new friends. We’re looking forward to going back again next year!!!

We also met some outfitters from the west side. Steve from Spirit of the Wilderness in particular. Enjoyed speaking with him and hearing the perspective of someone who’s been in the business for so long.
