Lodging Deposits
A deposit is necessary to confirm and secure your reservation. The deposit will be charged to your credit card when you book your stay online or over the phone. The remaining balance due will be charged upon check-out. Primary guest must be at least 25 years old, onsite and responsible for their group.
Cabins – $500
Lodge Rooms – $100
Bunkhouses – Full cost of reservation
Outfitting Deposits & Watercraft/Gear Rental Damage Deposits
For a Canoe Trip Packages the deposit is $50 per person.
Canoes & Motorboats $30 deposit; full refund for cancellations; Full payment due upon departure and a $150 damage deposit will be held on credit card for canoes or a $750 damage deposit will be held on credit card for motorboats. The damage deposit will be released 1 day after rental return date pending no damage by our outfitting staff after inspection of the watercraft.
Gear rentals require a fully refundable rental reservation/damage deposit of 25%. The damage deposit will be released 1 day after rental return date pending no damage by our outfitting staff after inspection.
Additional Guests
The cost for additional cabin guests above the stated occupancy is $35/per person per night.
The cost for additional lodge room guests above the stated occupancy is $35/person per night. This fee includes breakfast.
Cancellations
Due to our remote location, cancellations affect us greatly. It is extremely difficult to re-rent a cabin or lodge room that we have been holding for you within two weeks of anticipated arrival. We strictly enforce the policy below and appreciate your understanding.
Cancellations must be made on the phone by calling Clearwater Historic Lodge at 218-388-2254.
Cabins:
30 days or more from check-in date – $50 fee
29 days or less from check-in – 100% of the total deposit is forfeited
Lodge Rooms:
30 days or more from check-in date – $30 fee
29 days or less from check-in – 100% of the total deposit is forfeited
Bunkhouses:
Any cancellation date – $15 fee
Outfitting Packages
$50 per person deposit
If cancel at any time, forfeit full deposit
Full payment of trip required PRIOR to departure
Canoes/Motorboats
5% of rental deposit is non-refundable
Gear
5% of rental deposit is non-refundable
Check-In/Check-Out Time
Check-in time is after 3:00 pm on the arrival date. Check-out time is by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Pet Policy
Pets are permitted for an additional fee of $25/night per pet. No pets are allowed in the main lodge building. Service animals are permitted throughout the property. Pets must be leashed at all times, and no pet shall be left unattended in any cabin. Pets should be kept off of furniture and bedding at all times. Additional cleaning fee’s may be applied if this requirement is not followed.
Smoking Policy
There is no smoking permitted inside any building on the property. If smoke is detected after check-out, a $300 additional cleaning fee will be charged to the primary guest.
Care of Property/Damage Policy
Guests are expected to care for the property. Damage or breakage incurred during the occupancy will be the guest’s responsibility and must be reported and paid for prior to departure. Rearranged furniture should be placed back in its original position. Guests must leave the property in a clean condition. In the event of damages or excessive cleaning requirements, additional charges will be applied at a rate of $75 per hour. Missing items will be charged to the guest at the replacement cost. In the event that these charges are incurred, Clearwater Historic Lodge will charge the guest’s credit card on file and send a statement of charges via email.
