Every spring we try to work on improving our cabins. We refinished floors in the lodge and multiple cabins, added a new deck onto Cabin 2, and updated all of the curtains. Our biggest project by far that we just finished up was adding a screen porch onto Cabin 5. Enjoy these before and after photos.

The Clearwater Lodge family lost one of its members yesterday. Mike Trace passed away April 26 2015. Mike was a co-owner of Clearwater Lodge and Canoe Outfitters from 2003-2011. It rained all day today which has the lake looking nice and black, there are cold temperatures coming our way which will inevitably slow the process.
This was the view down Clearwater Lake Saturday afternoon, we are progressing nicely. Forecasts predict rain which will continue to help, but then cold temperatures which will not. We will keep everybody updated.
