Chik-Wauk Museum And Nature Center
Chik-Wauk Museum And Nature Center is a must-see for the history buff and anyone curious to learn more about the unique Gunflint Trail region. Open Memorial Day through the 3rd weekend in October, it sits on the beautiful Saganaga Lake as a centerpiece of anthropological, natural, historic, and prehistoric knowledge of the area. The museum also contains a considerable amount of information about Clearwater Historic Lodge.
Its 50 acres are interwoven with nature trails for families to explore. Check their calendar for upcoming Kids Day events and other programs, and don’t forget to pick up some souvenirs from the museum store before you leave. www.chikwaulk.com
